October has flown by! With a steady stream of enquiries and really positive feedback from engineers who have attended a variety of courses this month, we are pleased with IGNITE's progress to date. As of October 1st 2015, it is now compulsory that private sector landlords provide Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarms within any rental property that contain a ‘solid fuel burning combustion appliance’.
For further guidance about the changes, IGNITE has put together a useful information sheet to support: gas engineers, estate agents, landlords, tenants, gas operatives and advisers, working in housing and social care settings.
